Global recognition strategies

Russel Peters, the name for youtube users must be quite familiar. He an indian origin stand up comedian. His strengths is his ability to emulate different cultures. He can be the greatest International Business Dynamics teacher money can buy. You Tube changed his life. Some 13 thousands views received from people across the globe.

In this movie "Khuda ke liye" the maulvi says, "if you want to be recognized by westerner, be different". That goes very well with names like Nusrat fateh ali khan, Pt. Ravi Shankar, M. F. Hussain, Bruce Lee, Swami Iyanger, Mr. Deepak Chopra, Arnold Swazzi (i'm not too sure of his spelling and not in a mood to check) just to name a few. Mediums certainly change with time. But my focus of concern is Mr Peters.

His method of interacting with crowd is unmatched. Another indian who in my opinion is doing wonders in the field of stand up comedy is Mr. Raju Shrivastav. His scenario creations and narration with sounds and bhojpuri dialect is appreciated across northern india for sure.

what is different and what is common?

I'm not too sure on this but there is a pattern... both present a di-section of the society.
For us (indians at large) its regional and urban rural divide whereas in US its intercultural interactions which gets a standing ovasion.

Patterns as I said is the Key....
Universe is a pattern...
if things go wrong they follow similar pattern...
